Reflection for Transformation

A resolution without reflection will not lead to transformation. First, reflect on what is the reason for this new intention. Is this intention in alignment with you or social pressures? Next, what is the specific result you are trying to manifest? It needs to be in small achievable goals/markers. What did you want to do this week and what did you actually do? Lastly, look honestly at any limiting believes or obstacles that may have interfered with your intention. Why did you achieve/not achieve what you wanted to? Below are some questions to help you get clarity on your authentic self and plant allies that can help you on your journey.

Clarity with Thyme & Mugwort

2.What people, ideas, places things bring you joy?

3.What does acceptance look like to you?

4.What do you spend most of your money on?

5.What do you spend most of your time happily thinking about (reading, podcasts, media)?

6.What people, ideas, places, things are you happiest to talk about?

7.What do you want your career to feel like?

8.What do you want your lifestyle to feel like?

What 3-4 words do you see over and over? These 3-4 words describe you most of the time, regardless of the situation. This is your Authentic Map. (i.e. My words are Soil-Soul-Society)

Thyme & Mugwort

Thyme’s botanical name comes from the Greek word thymos, which means strong. Fitting since she is our unrelenting heroine, bringing our body back to balance. Energetically, she helps expel what is "other", helping you remove veils and return to your most authentic self. Thyme is also highly valued as a digestive remedy. The compounds that give her that beautiful smell make our gastrointestinal tract do its job more efficiently. Thyme also is a fairly strong antimicrobial, killing bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasitic worms. She has carminative and antispasmodic actions that can be helpful when we have gas or problems with spasms and tension in the digestive tract. Thyme also opens up our centers of communication and resonates with the throat chakra to help you speak and write with passion and purpose.

Mugwort is a legendary spiritually rejuvenating herb that relaxes your mind and quiets the ego voice. It is beautiful before a meditation, as it resonates with the third-eye chakra—your center of clairvoyance. Mugwort is helpful for digestion, headaches and for brain clarity as well—especially if your brain fog is caused by something going on in your digestive system. The most common folklore around mugwort is that she brings clarity to your life through lucid dreaming. Known for bringing restful sleep, she helps you have deeper REM and stay there longer. Lastly, mugwort may also boost the liver’s ability to metabolize excess fats, of which an excess of fat in the liver can cause congestion and reduce energetic clarity.
